Homophones: words that have the same pronunciation but are spelled differently and have different meanings.
    Examples: affect, effect
    there, their, they’re
    to, too , two

Explanation: Affect is used as a verb in a sentence. Effect is used as noun in a sentence.
There is used to identify a place or a direction. There is used to show ownership. There is
    used as they are.
To is used to give or receive an action. Too is used as also. Two is the number 2.

    Slang: vulgar language
Example from essay: “The reason being that one can be…”
correction: The reason for this is that one can be…

If one uses homophones incorrectly, it can cause confusion within your writing, making it unclear and unable to be understood.

4.) The most common errors made with Word Choice/Proper Usage is using is:

Its, It's: Its is a pronoun showing possession, while it's a contraction for it is or it has.

Than, Then: Than is a conjuction used to show comparison, then is used to show a sequence of events.

Accept, Except: Accept is a verb that means to recieve, except is to leave something out.

5.) Incorrect: As someone gets older they begin picking up bad habits from the society they live in, washing away the innocence the individual has, filling people with guilt.

Correct: As someone gets older they begin learning bad habits from the society they live in, washing away the innocence the individual has, filling people with guilt.

Incorrect: This goes beyond the social hierarchy.

Correct: This goes against the social hierarhy.

6.) I fixed my erros by revising the sentence and trying to find where my sentence sounds the most awkward and then replace the awkward word with a better one.
